As you stroll the garden pathways, enjoy the traditional Chinese music of erhu or ruan qin by Lan Su musician, Louis Lim. The erhu is a bowed, two-stringed Chinese vertical musical instrument, and the ruan qin is also a string instrument with a long neck and 13 frets.
Louis Lim was born in Mauritius. He graduated from South China Agriculture University in China and taught biology, music and calligraphy at a high school in China for about 10 years. He also plays several different Chinese musical instruments including the erhu and pipa.
These performances are free with Lan Su membership or admission; no registration is required.
